Seafish Industry Authority Mandatory Course for commercial fishing

  • Compliant with STCW95
  • VI/1Section A-VI1 2.1.1

Theory covers use of Personal Flotation Devices's (PFD's), life rafts, lifesaving equipment & techniques, first aid for survival, hypothermia, long term survival, abandonment, life raft drill and swimming techniques.

Afternoon session – Sea Survival practical session in the pool with survival suites and liferaft

Fee £150.00 ( This price will be reduced after COVID-19 measures are no longer required. )

If all four mandatory new entrant courses are taken in one block a £60 discount will be given, making the total cost to be £480.00

Yorkshire Coast Wind Farm

The world’s largest windfarm is to be built in the North Sea 80 miles off the Yorkshire coast

Developer DONG Energy says the Hornsea-1 farm will cover more than 154 square miles and its wind turbines will be 190m tall. It will be able to power over one million UK homes with a capacity of 1.2 gigawatts and is expected to be fully operational in 2020.
